Tasting notes

Cin&Cin FREE Pinot Grigio is a crisp, clean alcohol-free white made for long lunches and warm afternoons, and No&Low is the only place in the UK you can buy it. It starts life as genuine Pinot Grigio wine, before the alcohol is gently removed to keep the grape's fresh, delicate aromatics intact, finishing at 0.0% ABV.

In the glass it is pale straw yellow, with a bright, fragrant nose of lemon and lime zest, crisp green apple, fresh pear and delicate white flowers. The palate is light-bodied and refreshing, with juicy pear and apple, a lift of citrus and a clean, semi-dry finish. Vegan-friendly and just 18 kcal per 100ml.

Produced in Germany by Schloss Wachenheim, one of Europe's largest wine and sparkling wine houses, under the Cin&Cin label that is a familiar name across Poland and Central Europe. Serve well chilled at 8 to 10°C with seafood, poultry, salads and soft cheeses. With a handy screw cap, it is as at home at a picnic or business lunch as it is on the dinner table.

How it tastes, how it is made, and how to get the best from every bottle.

How does it compare with a regular white wine?

Crisp and fresh. Depending on the grape you will find citrus, green apple, peach or tropical fruit, with the bright acidity you expect from a white wine. The body is a little lighter than a regular white because there is no alcohol.

We taste every bottle before we stock it and describe each one honestly on its page.

How is the alcohol removed?

Most of our white wines are made as normal wine first, then the alcohol is gently removed, usually by vacuum distillation at a low temperature so the aromas and fruit survive.

Most of our range is 0.0% ABV. A few wines are de-alcoholised to below 0.5% ABV. Every product shows its exact ABV.

What temperature should I serve it at?

Well chilled, around 8 to 11°C. Without alcohol a white can taste flat when it is served too warm, so take it out of the fridge just before pouring.

How long does it keep once opened?

Reseal the bottle, keep it in the fridge and enjoy it within 3 to 5 days. A good wine stopper keeps the fruit fresh for longer.
