Cero Chardonnay is a smooth, dry to fruity alcohol-free white wine made by Golden State Vintners from California-grown Chardonnay grapes, dealcoholised to 0.0% ABV. California Chardonnay has a recognisable house style: ripe orchard fruit, a rounded body, and an easy-drinking quality that makes it comfortable across a wide range of occasions. This alcohol-free version follows that blueprint reliably.

The profile is clean and fruit-forward, with the rounded, accessible character that defines New World Chardonnay. It is smooth and balanced, with enough weight to feel like a proper white wine in the glass without being heavy or overly rich. Made from dealcoholised white wine, the gentle process retains the natural character of the original Chardonnay base while removing the alcohol entirely.

What does alcohol-free white wine taste like?

Does alcohol-free white wine retain its acidity?

Alcohol-free white wine is produced by fermenting grapes in the traditional way, developing acidity, secondary aromas and structural complexity, then removing the alcohol afterwards. White grape juice is simply pressed fruit that has never fermented. The fermentation process creates completely different flavour compounds. A glass of alcohol-free white wine has the crisp complexity of wine; grape juice does not.
